How to find us

Dún Beag Fort Visitor Centre is located on the Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula, overlooking some of the worlds most spectacular scenery with vast views of the UNESCO Skellig Islands, Iveragh Peninsula and the Wild Atlantic Ocean.

The circular road (R559) is 47km (30 miles) long, starting and ending in the unique little town of Dingle. Travellers usually travel clockwise in order to avoid the large tour buses that frequent the route. But be aware the cars can travel both ways and it is not a one way route.

Driving Directions

Follow the Slea Head route R559 from Dingle town towards Ventry Village, continue on for another 5.5km until you reach the Dún Beag Fort Car park and the Stonehouse Café Restaurant.
